Improved: Redesigned sermon channel settings & episode edit pages

Since the launch of Publishing, we've introduced support for multiple formats, including a live stream experience, on-demand video, on-demand audio, and podcasting. It's a lot! We've heard from you that setting up these different formats can be confusing. With a new format on the horizon 🤫, we've reworked these pages to better explain the available options for sermons and how to use them effectively.

Channel settings

Over in the channel settings, we've added a new card that summarizes the content formats available for a given channel:

Tapping on the gear icon opens up the associated settings for that format.

The second notable change is that your default times for livestreams now live as a standalone section.

Episode edit

On the episode edit, we've split things up into a General tab and a Media and resources tab. On the General tab, you can add your episode summary and series and manage your connected Services plan.

We've also added two new cards: Live Availability and On-Demand Availability. Both of these cards communicate when that content format is available on your channel page for your congregants to access.

Over on the Media and resources tab, we have our remaining settings for sermon resource links and where you configure your live & on-demand content.

Our goal with these changes was to make things clearer and easier to use. We'd love to hear your feedback; you can contact us via the ? icon on the top right!

Happy sermoning,
